Given the spotlight on the media here, it is unlikely that Gleason would have put pen to paper without some hard facts.
A financial journalist would have his ear to the ground in the financial hub, he is based in Sandton, home of the JSE, IDC (and of course TT).
Of course it could all be a conspiracy to drop the JSE share price in order that someone comes in and picks up shares at a firesale price!
