Not really. i supported the monthly record announcements the entire way but was shunned for it because people here saw PNV as above all that and that we were a respected company that should do quarterly or half yearly updates. Im merely staying consistent in my opinion and sharing that opinion on a public forum for which it was designed. Apparently monthly announcements are "hype" announcements and this is a traditional company.
To have those same people completely flip that and celebrate this monthly announcement shows the utter fandom this stock has which is dangerous. The same people who celebrate making 3% in 5 years underperforming savings accounts. Some people here have 0 consistency and have never said a bad thing about the company which is ridiculous for a growth company thats underperformed HISA. You cant both support the decision to remove monthly announcements, then celebrate a monthly announcement, while holding onto any integrity. An announcement that took place way later than any previous announcement and is in lieu of any real news
Were dealing with a group of people who are so heavily invested that their rational capabilities have been inhibited and they would shape their narrative to support whatever the company does, no matter if its in complete contrast to what was said before. These same people go into other more successful stocks and try to critique those companies and the people that hold them. Ill continue to hold for the moment but that doesnt mean im going to join the ridiculous circle jerk that happens here where DW is a god amongst men and can do no wrong. Atleast when people see my comments they will be as honest and objective as i can get.
Call a spade a spade, its a desperate announcement from a company that is struggling to generate shareholder value or produce business developments worthy of announcements. This monthly announcement would not have taken place had the share price held strong, or had the company had anything more important to release. its release is because the price dropped below 2$ and they had nothing else to show for it
