Thats a reasonable point worth making, back in the 1960s and 1970s mining companies needed >2% or even 3% Cu grades to make money or a bajillion tonnes porphry deposits at 1% Cu to stack up economically and get over the low capital hurdles of the day. In this remote location a chalcocite orebody or DSO style operation with smaller tonnage but extremely high grade (say 3-5% Cu or even 5-10% Cu if able to be benificated by removing waste minerals) would be interesting to try.
