No cancer trials have a placebo, called blind or double blind trials each patient knows what they are getting in the trial so does their Oncologist. Cancer trials are measured against standard of care, not doing nothing.
It is hard enough to get people to try something new in the cancer trial space let alone tell them it's a roll of the dice if you even get the good juice.
