My wife passed away from cancer 8 years ago after a long and courageous fight. My company raised tens of thousands for the Cancer Council but we received scant recognition from them They knew of my wife’s condition but we never heard from them. I have no idea where the money we raised went. They then rang me personally several months after my wife passed seeking a donation and espousing all the things they do for cancer sufferers. I told the caller that in fact they did nothing for my wife and I would not be making a donation.They hung up.
