yes of course many many people knew about the new clinical trial enrolled yesterday … and any one of them with the tiniest brain will realise that Fred or Freda being selected for a clinical trial is good news for them and the company conducting the trial.

Apply Occam’s Razor … the most likely source of pre-announcement buying is from the multitude of people outside Imugene who simply observe what’s going on around them and act on that observation.

I had a similar experience working next to a neurologist at St Vinnies years ago and watching with great interest her instal a Cochclear implant. She casually mentioned ‘these things are good and better than the US competition (Boston) if you’ve got some spare cash you could do worse …’. I did and made a lot from COH, particularly after Boston recalled their product. Sold too soon but there you go.
Moral of the story … ‘insiders’ are usually simply informed ‘outsiders’.
