FT and others, I have a horticultural question.
Can you provide a rough 100 seed weight? Why do I ask? MMJ announced on 22 December that UG was given approval to import 1kg of seed to begin cultivation. Curious to know how many plants may be grown from 1000g of seed and at what germination percentage? At 15-20 plants per square metre of cultivation area this would give me a guide as to the maximum area that could be sown from 1000g of seed?
Following on from this, do commercial growers retain their own seed or source new seed for each crop? Why do I ask? If seed is retained, then a proportion of the crop needs to go through to full maturity, is that right?
