FCC buying 6% of eCobalt is an interesting move: Trent Mell & team hold strong views about the development of the NAmerican cobalt industry.

I think eCobalt's Idaho Cobalt Project is more advanced and a superior deposit to FCC's Iron Creek. Both need more drilling.

eCobalt announced a halt to advancing ICP Feb 20 and Jervois Mining lobbed in a friendly merger offer April 1. FCC's $C3.6m eCobalt share purchase via a private placement likely stymies that offer.

Owning 6% of eCobalt is just a finger hold. Can Mell negotiate a satisfactory merger giving FCC a refinery project and two mining projects?

FCC will be sorely in need of fresh capital.
