Nav/Dorsey,
SOP is a chemical crop, but others are better equipped to answer the science questions.
SOP salts are harvested and stored on the ROM pads, the salts are then put through the plant and converted into processed SOP. The reduction rates were greater than expected during the initial false start, which impacts profit metrics.
Without looking it up, it may be something along the lines of a 11-1 kt reduction rate. Don’t quote me on that. Waste moves to recycling ponds.
Regardless, past data is largely irrelevant as there was ROM pad mismanagement. So the reduction rate will be of note when testing restarts. A potential silver lining.
What is clear, the ponds and relevant infrastructure needs to be set and functioning well before Novembers evaporation period.
