I'm gutted they didn't find a diamond pipe at the bottom!

Note elevation is not the height of the hill obviously.
So do we start with an open pit mine, then move to a mountaintop removal mine for the top 260m, then to a giant pit for the remaining 500 meters or whatever, (until that diamond pipe)

Obviously there will be lots of options to consider, but indeed this does seem to be a 100 year mine. An open pit would probably be a starting point, and some of the profits put back into satisfying environmental requirements for MTR to reduce unit costs, as there appears to be viable ore in the wall rock Breccia, even if it is piled up for processing in periods of weak pricing. They might be able to carve in from the East side, where there are lots of faults. Looks good from my armchair! ;-)
