    Its a scary country to lend money to , as a trial run I sent money in 2005 (0nly US $500.00 ) it went into bankBoston in BA from memory , but when I went to retrieve the money in person it was not there ):

    I did a trace on the money and sure enough it got to the bank but the bank declared ignorance to receiving it despite the trace details . Anyway it put me off investing in Argentina obviously .

    Therefore if I was financing a project in Argentina I would want a good effective interest rate considering the risk .
