Dead right Yummy, who is predicting and looks like a few major powers are still on their knees with Covid. Lags in employment, to get back in to production. The $US continues to fall and China with BRICS countries still want gold in a basket of international reserves. Lot of games at play. Orchestrated takedown on money gold by bullion banks to protect shorts when the physical was up. Commerzbank commodity analysts noted in a report this week that 100 tonnes of gold flowed out of exchange-traded funds. November saw the biggest outflows in gold in four years. The $US has fallen from 90% to approximately 60% international reserve currency since globalization and trade agreements which like Australia deal direct in yuan and swap Australian dollars. Trade tensions with Oz and China may force people to look elsewhere. The bond market in this world environment is an illusory trap for those not long gold IMO, as the quantitive easing seems relentless, induced by one crisis after another from climate change to Covid 19, to trade tensions and biowarefare as many commentators have declared from Trump down. Some people don't know what to believe anymore. Sixty-five % of historical debt has occurred in the last 12 years since the global crisis.

If you look at seasonal gold in a 30 year period, it is behaving as expected at this time of year and its all to do with the delivery of physical gold.

Shay5950, another good observation. I'm still very much in the green. Just patiently waiting for the shenanigan's to blow over and the methodical program led by sound management to evolve.

One person's trash is another's treasure. All depends on how you want to position yourself and the strength of your convictions.
