Road access already exists via the Trans Taiga Road but this is the long way round and connections to Trieste are patchy and not complete. The nearest direct route ends at the Renard Diamond Mine, which is around 40 kilometres south-east of Trieste. As Malibu has stated, plans are well underway to extend the La Grande Alliance Road from the Renard Diamond Mine north to connect to the Trans Taiga Road. This would enable Winsome, Patriot, Loyal and others to access direct access to ports in southern Quebec. I expect the road to be completed will before mining commences in coming years.
