Additional gas being processed at Otway Gas Plant is at minimal additional cost. OGP runs 24/7 even when operating at 50% capacity. The gas from Enterprise will be sold to Origin Energy at competitive price. From my reading the gas price will be at the maximum $12 per GJ allowed by government price cap. Also, Enterprise gas has a higher amount of liquids.
The upshot is Otway Gas plant profits could almost double!
We are set for the big announcement on new BPT Strategy come Tuesday.
