Tsj, while I have not spoken to the company recently, I would be very surprised if they announced the second gold bar being poured (only very small producers, or ones with toll treatment would usually keep providing the market with updates regarding single pours etc). It's all about consistency, showing decorum and hitting their targets now. GCY needs to prove that it can succeed where many have struggled and fully commission and bring into commercial production the newest W.A gold mine. Some will be selling right now to reduce their risk, as, on average, miners usually hit their biggest issues at this stage. I think the fact that they missed their initial pour deadline proves that it is no easy thing turning on and feeding a 2.5mtpa plant.

That being said, I am hopeful that GCY will prove to be a success where many stumble, and have a relatively smooth and painless start to what I believe will be a very long life project (especially if they continue to have drilling success).
