The move prompted Credit Suisse to cut its price target from 56c to 20c and forecast that the company could cut dividend payments after the first half.
Credit Suisse analyst Grant Saligari said Myer had “under invested” in its stores and that growth in the online business would not cover the company’s total shortfall.
