Fair enough, at least you offer some alternatives. Not sure I agree that it's governments job to control inflation as that really is the RBA's sole charter. Increasing taxes is certainly one way to reduce disposable income but that is a double whammy for the already stressed r holders. Anyway, don't want to clog up this thread with off topic stuff but thanks for the response.
