Under Brett’s leadership shareholders were left wondering if the non-communication of expected news was because the news was either negative (my view) or had some other implications which was part of the big secret plan.
Today’s announcement details particular problems encountered with the plant, which would likely not have been shared before.
Detailing cash positions also gave a dose of clarity and reality in between quarterlies. 90 days is a long time to wait for such news during a high cost ramp-up phase.
I liked these aspects of the announcements and it seems they are trying to gain credibility and trust with the market.
