Basically assets and liabilities for SYQ will appear on a 100% SYA basis when you see the statements. All SYQ cash will appear as though it is SYA's... the same goes for liabilities like trade payables. A line item at the bottom will provide some clarity regarding equity attributable to non-controlling interests. I have highlighted that for you. When a subsidiary like SYQ is making great money or has a large amount of cash on hand, shareholders love this. On the other hand if SYQ took out a massive loan, SYA holders would be a bit salty.

For the P&L statement it will all appear 100% SYA until the line for non controlling interests appears.

This does not mean bank accounts are shared etc, it is simply the method of reporting.

It will not all be broken down into our share/ their share, by line item - just 100% SYA and then adjusted at the end.
