Agree 100% ! One resounding point PH has made from day one is CLTX is bound for a fastback route to commercialisation/M & A/Partnership. They have planned for a pivotal phase II trial and already set the wheels in motion with the clinical design. As you say with the huge unmet need in GBM, the FDA will look very favourably at registrational, Orphan Drug or even the Willy Wonker Golden Priority Review voucher ticket (speculative and not essential). IMO CHM would not so confidently plan for this Phase II pivotal unless they were almost certain in the efficacy potential of the asset. Especially considering how conservative and quietly confident both Jen and PH are in everything they do.
Also agree with stockrock, but It’s hard not to get excited, all of us are being as conservative as we can given the DD we have done. Once the data is released and the real money starts coming in like we have seen in some other oncology companies recently, with the limited shares on offer the SP will match the level of potential with each de-risk step closer and more eyes on what the City of hope team have created over the last 10 years. Right now we are very much flying under the radar and rightfully so until we see how much sting there really is in this CHM-1101 tail.
IMU has had a spectacular rise and rightfully so but CHM-1101 (and CDH17 for that matter) has a compelling story and looks to be a natural perfect GBM super binder therefore destroyer. In one of the videos Christine Brown says when they carried out the initial pre-clinical “We got broad and specific recognition of GBM cells in ways we didn’t imagine” Michael Barish then says “at every step of the way we were waiting for something to go wrong and it didn’t - And now there is only one thing left to do - use it in a clinical trial and trial it in patient”
