Start from around the 4 minute mark for discussion on starting materials including the helper and transfer plasmids... it will give today's announcement some context. Is is great news that the first manufacturing step in the process to manufacture a CAR-T that is injectable into humans is now complete.
Next step is vector manufacturing.. and after that.. they'll be ready for phase 1 trials!
