I just checked my email and also got a response from MEI's investor relations, copied below:

The table provided still doesn't make sense, MREC recovered in grams now 59.6g, but at 57.3% TREO that equals 34.2g TREO in MREC against 25 Feed Kgs at 4439 ppm being 111.0g TREO in, or 31% TREO recovery.

I will await the amended announcement which currently states:

The test work was undertaken from a 25kg subsample of the 250kg CDM master composite sample and through the AMSUL extraction, impurity removal and carbonate precipitation process has generated approximately 50 grams of a high quality MREC product as shown in Figures 2, 3 and 4 below.

To align with their response, it should state "25 kg of subsample, of which xx kg was used to generate MREC" which should close the mass balance... Unfortunately they didn't provide the mass actually used for MREC in the reply email, with the table provided still suggesting it was 25 kg..
