I would have preferred they wait a couple more weeks and had assays in hand of the MREC to share with the market. MEI’s MREC had full specifications showing it was saleable at Chinese spec (Chinese spec Mrec >50% TREO, <0.1% aluminium). We unfortunately don’t know if this MREC is saleable spec or not, so it wasn’t going to move the needle much. On the other hand, MEI’s MREC moved their needle a fair whack.
Not sure what catalysts left in the near term after this. Will just have to wait now for some results from the demo plant (REE extractions and full MREC spec) then DRA Global DFS 2. May be a while until market gets actual hard data from the demo plant going off this fluff announcement.
I would have preferred they wait a couple more weeks and had...
