Spider,you raise a good point. The size of the shipment was stated previously. I thought it was 40,000 bbls but could be wrong.
As far as the price is concerned,..two things. Oil producers offer their crude to a number of refineries and the one that offers the best formula (eg Tapis plus $?) will get the sale.Secondly , the formula often calls for a ten or twenty day average , so the price may not be fully known at this stage.
Finally,the price details are mostly kept confidential because its in the interests of both parties.Refiners prefer that the competition is unaware of the price etc etc.
This is just the first, albeit an important, step along BRU's road to riches.Lets not fret about minor details along the way.
