Great announcement. Just a teaser for future revenue.
I particularly like this line:
"Space will be set aside within approximately 4,000 of SDC’s retail stores for JAT speciality shops. These shops will be managed by SDC staff and sell a range of imported goods supplied by JAT, being Australian sourced FMCGs."
I do not follow all of A2M, BAL, WHA, BUB etc. announcements so I am not sure if they have their own designated speciality shop in a chain as large SDC. Good luck if they do.
But what excites me is how close SDC are working with JAT. Not only their CIIE Australian representative but they seem to really want to push JAT as their Australian brand in all 4,000 stores including having staff manage these speciality shops.
I have no idea how much IF each store would order. Take 1,000 per annum as an example which is conservative imo. That is 4,000,000 tins. Then include all the units of other "milk products, biscuits, toothpaste, soap and other HIGH VOLUME FMCG's". The more units equals more revenue and profits.
Seeing a container of oats may not excite the market but say 1,000 per annum of each of the products in each store then this could easily become a juggernaut with the full backing of "a large, publicly listed Chinese company with strong state support, a rich 40-year history of international trading, sales in excess of AUD 1 billion per annum and extensive logistics and warehousing infrastructure."
Of course they are talking Cobbitty only in this announcement. Add GK, Sunnya and others that will come on board and ship it all over through our own distribution company GF who will in turn give us even higher margins.
The other thing to consider is all the other channels that they have to provide stock to (ie. JD.com, Kaola, JBingo, their JAT shop etc.)
For a company in its infancy stage they are moving along very fast. An exciting future for LT holders.
Time is your friend.
