Firstly, I am no “expert”, but the Uranium doesn’t really affect the AISC. That only concerns the costs of extracting the gold.
The Uranium does affect the P/E ratio.
A very clumsy analogy would be if AISC referred to the cost of making bread for a baker that was used in a bakery’s business plan, then the Uranium would equate to the additional revenue to the bakery if the smell of baking subsequently was commodified and added a significant income stream to the bakery. It does not however, add to the cost of making bread. It does add to the earnings of the bakery, without adding to the cost of bread.
