- First dosage cohort now fully enrolled (6 participants).

- Trial expected to be completed by Q3 next year, possibly a little sooner.
- Recruitment now seems to be traveling well.
- Strong evidence to implicate inadequate autophagy in disease progression, therefore MPL is a good drug candidate.
- MPL may be efficacious in other neurodegenerative diseases, but due to the relatively slow progression of many of these, it's difficult to establish efficacy. By comparison, MND progresses quite rapidly so signs of efficacy should also appear more quickly.
- Patiens will be permitted to contiue with Riluzole while on trial.
- Inclusion/exclusion criteria tweaks bring the trial in to line with criteria used in other MND trials. These related to lung function requirements and use of non-invasive respirator.
- No issues noted with drug tolerability or ability to take tablets at this stage.
- Participants from one dose stage will be permitted to participate in later dose stages (although timing prohibits participation in the immeidate next stage)
- Participants will be permitted to maintain their current dose whiile waiting for subsequent dose escalation stage to commence.
- While a Phase 1 trial focused on safety, tolerability, pk and identifying the optimum dose, indicators of efficacy are also being assessed.

Most likely a Market Update in that news ..

As Sam disclosed at the AGM "no Tolerability Issues" with so much history surrounding the failed Capsule Trial , you would think an announcement to inform the wider investment market that after 6 years of Tablet Manufacture that PAA have overcome previous Road Blocks ?

That might encourage new investment taking substantial risk off the table.. that might even move the SP upward if Anusha delivers the update...NZT
