I'm pretty sure that they need to now what the actual bid is to match it. For example, just say the deal was company XYZ to purchase a number of different fields from company ABC for $1.5b. The party that has PE rights in each of the fields needs to know what value is placed on their field, the total cost has no interest to them. So in FAR's case it would need to know the value that was put on the asset in the purchase of the company.
I'm pretty sure that they need to now what the actual bid is to...
