A few months ago, I sold my shares, and I believe that SH is facing some challenges ahead.

I work at a large logistics facility, and over the past half year, we've noticed a shift in the movement of produce and meat away from the two major players in the market. Instead, we’re seeing an increase in volume directed towards Aldi, smaller independent stores, and local markets.

Interestingly, small-scale producers and growers who were previously squeezed out by the big supermarkets are now adapting their strategies. They're finding ways to supply their products through to these independent shops and local markets. Therefore, the decline and forecasts they’ve released aren’t necessarily indicative of consumers spending less; rather, there’s been a significant shift away from the major retailers that's been underway for over a year IMO .

Based on my.knowledge of fresh produce movements and future projections, i anticipate this trend will continue as smaller growers—unaffiliated with the big players—and meat producers keep gaining traction. They are providing more affordable options to these independents and local markets. In my opinion, it’s going to be a challenging period for the major retailers.
