river peaked and has now fallen slightly again. Enough for barges from Krajan/Pit 3 to Batu but not enough for loading larger vessels. 6km as crow flies down stream from us is another ISP where 4kt barges are loading (and have been through September). My read is that they want to be very cautious on first navigations of river from there up to Batu Tuhup and want the river at full height.
Rain in headwaters for rest of this week is low until Sunday when heavier falls are forecast (forecast for Muara Joloi)
