Don’t mistake 2ic for the average dumb punter on HotCopper. He’s one of the few posters on here with industry experience and knowledge - his opinion holds weight.

For the record, I’ve not seen HMC that colour either. A bit unusual, but given the price/tonne one would expect it’s hitting their target spec at this stage of ramp up. As someone who has worked for many years as a commissioning engineer/manager, I can tell you that most projects run late during startup as there are so many unknowns and unexpected issues. The fact that they’ve delivered their first cargo this year is a testament to the hard work and ability of the construction and commissioning teams. Still early days in the scheme of things, but looking good so far.
