Well better safe than sorry I suppose.
Given there's not exactly feverish trading at the moment it doesn't matter from that point of view.
And you can argue that, while we've been able to infer this from information out on the web, it's still a different story when the company makes a formal ann.
Also, making it marekt sensitive means that it will flash up on the market radar and get a bit more attention.
