This seems to signal an improvement in the mine plan to bring more deposits into production quicker and indicate that a decision has been made to bin the MC 51 and use drill and blast exclusively.
I say that because earlier dispatches indicated
* The MC51 would be shifted to the Nugent Portal when the ventilation shaft became a critical path priority.
* Mining would start with Kavanagh and be followed by Nugent with Spitfire,SW Kavanagh and North Kavanagh coming later.
I'm assuming that the decision to proceed with lode definition drilling of Spitfire and SW kavanagh lodes means the current intention is.to start mining them first. It will be interesting to see what the drilling turns up.
I guess the fact that the definitive finance agreement wasn't held up by the need for stope drilling and better resource definition has opened a lot of doors for improvement in the mine plan, accelerating the path to the start to production and filling the plant quicker
We can now look forward to
*Upgrade to the Kavanagh MRE
*Upgrade to the Nugent MRE
*Maiden Spitfire and SW Kavanagh MRE
* and at some stage along that journey an FID
* a flow of big dividends not too far down the track.
Maybe I have been reading too much between the lines but its good for the soul to dream about the changes being positives.
Not surprised to hear the MC51 trial has been completed and the plan to shift it over to the Nugent portal binned given what seems to be very poor performance relative to the 3m per shift advance initial expectatioin.. I guess its drill and blast from here on based on the economics.
I guess drilling and blasting in the main decline can't go on simultaneously with exploration drilling. It will however be interesting to learn why Pybar have been stood down and aren't carrying on with the Ventilation Shaft and or the Nugent Portal.
