"Dr Hamed Amani, Lehigh Valley Hospital, presented on limb salvage; diabetic foot ulcers, electrical burn and flame burn. In all of these cases the outcomes were outstanding. Dr Amani was fully expecting the NovoSorb BTM to fail in the limb salvage case due to the poor state of the wound bed and the underlying condition of the patient and yet the NovoSorb BTM worked and the patient retained his leg and is walking today."

This is what other treatments are doing. This patient had 6 applications to achieve wound closure after 7 weeks. Polynovo BTM would blow this out of the water on cost alone.

This is the preamble of the webinar

    Summary
Presented by Dan Davis, DPM (see bio below)
Chronic wounds, or wounds that fail to proceed through an orderly and timely repair process, affect some 6.5 million patients in the United States with an associated cost of care over $50 billion annually.1,2 These ailments can require lengthy treatments at significant costs to the healthcare system. Major disability, poor quality of life, and reduced productivity contribute to the growing financial burden.1-3 The number of people affected by a chronic wound is expected to increase as the population ages and the incidence of diabetes and obesity continues to rise worldwide.1,5Wound duration is an independent risk factor for infection, hospitalization, and amputation, and contributes to patient morbidity, mortality, and cost of care.5
