It can be argued businesses insure with the highest rated counterparty they can find and higher is better.
A cynical investor would say the balance sheet is under-utilised and QBE should be pushing its underwriting harder.
The optimum falls somewhere between.
You and I can't influence QBE's corporate positioning. It just is.
