Uniphore's tech not necessarily better tech but compatible technology. They are also local, being started in India and now based in Singapore. Uniphore is mainly voice recognition technology. Speech analytics and voice biometrics. They do have a virtual assistant but its only a preprogrammed script, it is not AI based like ROSIE, so it doesn't learn or adapt. IMHO, I think that was why Dr WLLACE was tweeting about the exciting opportunity to collaborate with the other winners. Metlife Asia sees the value of working with multiple compatible technologies.
