The PS3 SUBRE plant (20,000 m3/d) prep appears to be moving forward.
On July 23rd there was a site visit by all the ministry leaders. At the time, all the site had been cleared, except for one section, that required the removal of some residents on the waterside, in order to build a sludge holding tank of 20m x 9.8m. The site was marked out at this meeting.
On Aug 9th some residents were arguing with the government about being removed from the river to make way for the WWTP3 sludge holding tank.
On Aug 10th they accepted to be moved.
I would assume that if the government has moved to the stage of forcibly clearing out residents from required land, that a final approval for the treatment plant would be close, within the next month or 2 depending on COVID delays and getting the right people in place to sign contracts. Seems like this plant will also be partially on the waterway, similar to PS2, but almost 2 to 3 times larger in scale. Just for perspective, see a birds eye view of PS2 and imagine something at least twice the size. Should look really impressive if it does get the final approval to proceed.
