First design I've seen of the PS3 plant.
That's a Fluence design. The partners are X-Water and they've been advertising the Fluence Aspiral range also.
There is a push to connect up all the businesses in Cambodia to WWTPs, especially in tourist areas.
I think that there were hotel owners at both the PS1/PS2 inspections and the groundbreaking ceremony.
They want them to trust the quality of the MABR treatment process, before they now have to pay to connect their hotels up to it. So there should be more plants in future.
These first 3 large ones at 5200 m3/d, 7200 m3/d and 20,000 m3/d sets up the best type of reference sites for smaller scale Aspiral plants to then be placed quickly at other necessary sites across Cambodia.




These pics are all from X-Water. Note that for the below picture of the PS3 planning meeting, they say that these Sihanoukville sites are an important reference for the other provinces in Cambodia. X-Water are also based in the capital Phnom Penh, so would likely be trying to get some sites closer to home. Finding funding for projects is a more difficult challenge though.


@frostieshake they have been preparing the site for months already, before even finalizing the contract.
Due to time zone differences, during this groundbreaking, Fluence USA office were probably sleeping, when they were at work on Friday the ASX was then closed. So you would hope for an announcement of some sort in the next few days. The market doesn't even care about a $190 million USD Ivory Coast project, so I wonder if there will be a reaction to an approx $8 million USD SUBRE project in Cambodia.

Note that in July, the main site had been partially cleared, before they removed some residents in Aug to make way for some road access.
