I doubt there is a different cost involved, as there should be no difference in the internal equipment of the L4 containers themselves.

Each partner is setting up the specific sites with different external equipment and processes though, with the external equipment being of the different nature and structure.


Compare this 400 m3/d iTEST 4 x Aspiral L4 site (above) with 2 x external 20 ft containerized clarifyers and external 40 ft control box.

To the Hunan Kaitian Xielingang 800 m3/d 4 x Aspiral L4 site (below) with external Pretreatment with screen filter and selection tank, a secondary clarifier, a tertiary media filter and disinfection unit, and smart remote monitoring and control.

The iTEST system looks to be much more compact and simplified for quicker installation, the Hunan Kaitian plant looks full scale and more expensive and time consuming to build, with dedicated concrete buildings and large scale secondary clarification as well as tertiary media filtration and disinfection. The L4 containers are only part of the cost equation.
