    definitely signals that AQZ is becoming a plane ‘wholesaler’.
    And this deal strengthens ACCC position to have them remain away from QAN.
    Great if they are buying the planes at a knock down price, like they did 3 years ago.
    I hope they intend to maintain their dominance of FIFO market.
    surely this acquisition has to be well north of $200m which means significant additional borrowings - not to mention the additional costs of getting them ‘commercial ready’ with trained crews etc.
    These costs were staggering with the last purchase and frankly weren’t expected by the market. Me, at any rate.
    it was a big mistake to think the costs of the last acquisitions were a tad over $5m each.
    Forgetting QAN for a minute, it’s difficult seeing AQZ HAVING THE BS strength to conclude this deal without extra capital.
    Conclusion - no dividend for the foreseeable future and a cap raise.
    I just don’t know what to think.
