If this was the case, that is, QAN & Virgin need extra planes, surely a contract would be entered into and surely, AQZ directors would be champing at the bit to announce this to the market as well as making potential lenders more comfortable with the additional revenue streams. This hasn’t happened whereas with the first E190:tranche QAN quickly put their hand up for 20 then extended this to 30. This time round we have no such commitment - so effectively all planes are waiting to find a customer or will be broken up. This cannot be a comforting situation for a financier. ATM we are exposed & the market doesn’t like it.
