Totally agree on both points. FBU state that this is the probably cause for much of the problem too. The lack of correct lagging locks the pipe in place and stops it flexing. Houses elsewhere are timber framed and even if the bends are a bit tight the pipe can move to compensate. I wonder if the plumbers they have been using are not used to this double brick construction? Also a bit suspicious that BGC won't allow FBU to go with them to fix leaks, surely if they were confident they would be happy to point out that correct installation procedure was followed??
