Who are you referring to when you say "they" FBU or BGC ? I only ask as this crossed my mind too. FBU's rebuttal mentioned that BGC bought large quantities of pipes (to get discounts) and then passed pipes on to their plumbers as needed. This may have been months later. FBU questioned if the installation instructions had also been passed along too at the same time. But also I wondered if the pipes had been stored in a yard in direct sunlight. As this is a big no no I assume FBU would have tested for this early on as it would certainly have made the pipes more brittle.
