115 years how many years listed. How many years with high leverage?
The business has always been the same for the 115 years?
I recall stories of when governments had in house road construction teams and material supplies. Then it was pravitised. The first small mum and dad construction companies with real engineers running companies who knew how to design and build what they were tendering on. That's all gone with consolidation and behemoths like Downer and etc.
We currently have Project Manager and Delivery Managers with less than 10 years experience running the show on major projects. The blind leading the blind and we wonder why projects never delivered on time and budget.
Then you might have a few good guys but rest of industry has become so dodgy they can't seem to do the right thing by the client or they won't make any money a d go bust.
It's a shambles.
