i am a farmer and get frustrated with poor Chinese made quality in many things- but this seems Aus or NZ made and pipe I've had from these sources seems fine as both countries "plastics" ( broadly) have been great in the past-both pvc, and poly-but this is another type of material, and what advantage did it have over poly(!) , pvc, or copper?
