Quite the exaggeration to compare TAR to ARE. In ARE’s case there were three groups who held multiple native title claims over the tenement since the Act was enacted (1993). TAR, as far as we know, has one group causing issues which holds no native title claims over the area.

Also, I am by no means a native title expert, but despite ARE’s long legal battle, there have been changes to the SA Mining Act, which provides a more streamlined tribunal approach to resolving these types of matters, which brings it closer in line with other states.
