TELECOM H2 FY13 RESULTS AND ANNUAL REPORT

In accordance with the NZSX Listing Rules, I enclose the following for
release to the market in relation to Telecom's H2 FY13 results:

Telecom's Chief Executive, Simon Moutter, and Chief Financial Officer, Jolie
Hodson, will discuss the H2 FY13 Results at 10:00am New Zealand time today.
Telecom's 2013 Annual Report is now available on
http://investor.telecom.co.nz. In accordance with the Companies Act 1993 and
NZSX Listing Rules, Telecom is no longer required to automatically mail
shareholders a hard copy of the Annual Report. Shareholders may request a
hard copy by responding to the section 209 notice that will be mailed to
them.
This announcement will also be released to the ASX and SEC. Supplementary
documentation relating to this results announcement will follow.
