    The reason that this is so important is that the US have traditionally used ALUM to treat pollution in their waterways. There has been huge resistance from the industry to change this despite better alternatives like PET being available. The industry will be watching this trial.. Once PET is proven to be superior to Alum the floodgates could open very quickly (pun intended).
