In this particular case I don't think this is likely to have a MBR included.  A lot of the theme of this release was about energy efficiency, having an MBR included would nullify that.  They also could not claim that MABR exceeded government nutrient removal standards if they needed an MBR  to make it work.

However, I don't think you are far away with the non-standard L1.  Being an industrial site, I am thinking that an all-in-one unit is required, where the L-series units usually have an external clarifier, I think this one will include it in the extra space.  I think they are also likely to combine the fine bubble diffusers from the L3 series to increase the treatment rate from the 50 m3/d of an S1, to 60 m3/d while increasing BOD removal and having a negligible effect on energy usage.

So it is basically a S1 (1 MABR unit + integral pre-treatment + clarifier) installed into an L3 form factor (40 foot container + fine bubble diffusers) combined into one unit.

Future installs could indeed included the other optional features.
