Something to consider:
Everyone ... zoom out and holistically review what the company said during the recent quarterly. Richard emphasised that, besides focusing on mass scale deployment of MABR in China together with RWL's own enterprise contracts, the company would prioritise generating wide scale interest in the company.
Two weeks since this announcement, and we have:
1) A strategic investment of $10M made by a 'well known global fund' (potentially Capital Group) together with a further $1M by another unknown, but presumably large US fund;
2) Fluence to present to Cannacord Genuity's clients tomorrow and Thursday (has anyone even considered the impeccable timing of this announcement relative to the fact that we are then presenting to major investors tomorrow and Thursday - any investor knowing a global fund has just bought 3.5% of FLC will want a piece),
3) An interim business update to be provided with the half year results at the end of August (as stated in the quarterly),
4) On top of all of this, if you look on Fluence's website, you will see that they have at least 1 exhibition at a major, international water show each month for the next 4 months.
Holistically evaluate those four points. It is pretty clear what is going to happen in August, 2017. Fluence has strategically planned to systematically garner significant interest from large and small funds, globally and domestically, alike over the first 3 weeks of August. Then they will announce half year results and a business update at the end of August; most likely, they will upgrade their full year forecasts for CY17 revenue in this announcement (given 1) EMC was renowned for under-promising and over-delivering, and 2) the fact that Fluence, as a combined entity, had already secured 83% of full year forecasts of $90M not even 6 months into CY17).
So then consider; after all the prior roadshows for global funds and investors together with the exhibitions at international water shows in August ... any sniff of stellar interim results, and Fluence's strategic self-promoting will culminate in causing a material and significant re-rate.
To me; what Fluence has and is doing is systematic, well planned and yet subtle - one must step back for the full picture to be revealed.
I think August will be defining for the share price.
